Biography
Mi dedicación a la docencia se inicia en mi vida universitaria, al participar como ayudante de las cátedras de Acústica de Locales, Electrónica y Circuitos Eléctricos, en la carrera que estudié, Ingeniería de Ejecución en Sonido en la Universidad Austral de Chile. Comienzo mi actividad laboral formal como Jefe de Área Técnica de Radio Umbral FM en Santiago, entre los años 1987 y 1989. En mi vida laboral he trabajado para diversas instituciones de educación superior en Santiago. Me he desempeñado también como profesor guía y/o informante en alrededor de 50 tesis desde 1997 a la fecha, realizadas con estudiantes de distintas instituciones, entre ellas destaco: Universidad de las Américas, Inacap, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Universidad Católica y Universidad de Chile. Profesionalmente estoy inscrito como Par Evaluador de Carreras Tecnológicas en la Comisión Nacional de Acreditación CNA, y he participado en los Comités de Pares Evaluadores para la acreditación de carreras de sonido en Chile, en reiteradas ocasiones. Soy, además, Par Evaluador Externo de Proyectos CORFO, en el área de Acústica y Sonido. El año 2010 ingreso a honorarios a la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Chile, donde dicto las asignaturas de Electrónica, para el plan antiguo de la Licenciatura en Artes mención Sonido. Ese mismo año obtengo el Grado Académico de Magister en Educación con mención en Currículum y Evaluación en la Universidad de Aconcagua. El año 2012 obtengo por concurso público, la jerarquía de Profesor Asistente de media jornada a contrata de nuestra Facultad. Entre el 2013 y 2014 fui diseñador y relator de Cursos Sence, de la OTEC de la Facultad de Artes. El 2015, por votación del claustro académico de sonido, me eligen para el cargo de Jefe de Carrera de la Licenciatura en Artes m/Sonido plan antiguo y la Carrera Innovada de Ingeniería en Sonido, que inicia su plan innovado ese mismo año. En dicho periodo fui, a petición de las autoridades de la Facultad, Presidente de la Comisión de Autoevaluación para Acreditación de la Carrera de Ingeniería en Sonido, obteniendo la acreditación de nuestra carrera por 5 años. Participé también como Integrante permanente del Comité de Carrera de Sonido, integrante del Comité de Innovación Curricular de la Carrera, participante de la Comisión de Creación del Bachillerato en Música y del Comité de Creación del Departamento de Sonido. Finaliza mi función de jefe de carrera el 2021. En la Universidad de Chile, he realizado capacitación permanente mediante UPERDOC, destacandose dos diplomados: “Gestión y Aseguramiento de Calidad en Educación Superior” (2019) y “Habilidades Personales para Acciones Docentes en Educación Superior” (2017). El año 2021 obtengo la jerarquia de Profesor Asociado de la Carrera Docente con 22 horas, en la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Chile, y dictó actualmente cinco asignaturas para la carrera de Ingeniería en Sonido: Altavoces Distribuidos, Electrónica 1, Electronica 2, Circuitos Eléctricos 2 y Electrónica Digital.

Welcome to my site, which I designed to be a tool in the dissemination of my teaching and professional activity. I have maintained this initiative since 2003, motivated mainly by my students, in support of the various topics that I dictate; It has also been the result of collaborations, which through these years, have made friends, colleagues and students, whom I thank. I invite you to propose your suggestions in order to make our life of knowledge more bearable and collaborative. My dedication to teaching starts with my university life, when I participate as an teaching assistant in Acoustics, Electronics and Electrical Circuits, in the career that I studied, Sound Engineering at the Universidad Austral de Chile in Valdivia, where I was titled in 1987.
My first formal job began as Head of Technical Area of Radio Umbral FM in Santiago between 1987 and 1989. The year 1989 I was a teacher at the Electronic Institut Gamma where worked for 10 years. In 1994, I was joined the teaching staff of the Universidad Vicente Pérez Rosales, in Santiago to teach in the courses of Engineering in Sound and Civil Engineering in Sound and Acoustics, where I work until March 2013. I have been a teacher guide in 50 theses to date, with students from different institutions.
I have worked for several institution of higher education, usually dictating subjects in electricity, electronics, digital circuits, maintenance of audio equipment, research methodology, distribuited speaker, among others. From the year 2010 I work in the Faculty of Art of the University of Chile, where I currently teach subjects related of electronics, for the Bachelor of Art mention in Sound. That same year I obtained the Academic Degree of Magister in Education with mention in Curriculum and Evaluation. The year 2012 I obtain by public contest, the hierarchy of Assistant Professor in the University of Chile.
In 2021, the Higher Evaluation Commission of the University of Chile grants me the category of Associate Professor. I am professionally enrolled as a Technology Appraiser for the National Accreditation Commission of Chile.
From 2014 i was certified in the Public Registration of Persons or Pedagogical Entities and Support Techniques in Ministry of Education of Chile. I am also designer-rapporteur of courses of National Service of Training and Employment, Government of Chile, of the recently created Technical Training Area of the Faculty of Art of University of Chile.
At the moment I have the appointment of Associate Professor, in Department of Sound of the Faculty of Art of the University of Chile, Evaluator Pair certified by the CNA National Accreditation Commission, and an External Pair of CORFO Projects, agency of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism in charge of supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness in the country.
